Next, I will introduce the difference between the opening size and the clear opening size!
Opening size: refers to the size of the reserved structural opening.
Clear opening size: refers to the light-transmitting size when the high-speed hard door is fully opened.
For example, if an opening has a width of 7000mm and a height of 4000mm, the left and right columns of the high-speed hard door as well as the head unit all occupy a certain amount of space. If there is no installation space on either side or above, the clear opening size of the opening will be reduced!
This introduction covers a case of two doors in one opening. The clear opening height is the same as that of one door in one opening; the difference lies in the clear opening width!
The two-doors-in-one-opening type is commonly used in underground garages!

See Figure A above: Depth of the turbine head. B: Height of the turbine head. C: Dimensions of the bottom seal and bottom joist.
When the opening height ≤ 3500mm, select a turbine head with A=780mm, B=755mm, and C=195mm, plus an installation clearance of 50mm.
Total required upper dimension: 755+195+50=1000mm
When the opening height ≤ 4500mm, select a turbine head with A=850mm, B=830mm, and C=170mm, plus an installation clearance of 50mm.
Total required upper dimension: 830+170+50=1050mm
When the opening height ≤ 6000mm, select a turbine head with A=930mm, B=920mm, and C=130mm, plus an installation clearance of 50mm.
Total required upper dimension: 920+130+50=1100mm
Enable width
The 300-type and 225-type columns are commonly used in underground garages. The following focuses on explaining these two door types!

As shown in the figure above, a motor cover needs to be installed on the motor side, requiring 100mm of installation space.
When the opening height is ≤ 3500mm, a 780*755 turbine head is selected. The widths of the four columns for the two doors are 300mm each, plus 50mm of reserved installation space on the left and right sides and between the two doors.
The total required dimension for the two doors on the left and right is (300*4) + (50*3) + (100*2) = 1550mm.
(Opening size − 1550) ÷ 2 = Opening dimension of each door.

The figure below shows a 225 column, and the maximum opening height of the door is within 3500mm.
The number of springs inside the uprights is reduced, and the width of the uprights is changed to 225mm. The motor has no protruding 100mm section.
When the opening height is ≤ 3500mm, a turbine head of 780*755 shall be selected. The four uprights for the two doors each have a width of 225mm, plus 50mm reserved installation space on the left and right sides and between the two doors.
The total required dimension for the left and right of the two doors is (225*4) + (50*3) = 1050mm
(Opening size − 1050) ÷ 2 = Opening dimension of each door
